‘Donate Your Blood For A Reason, Let The Reason Be Life’ – this is the slogan by Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur which had recently initiated its 2nd blood donation campaign at the hotel in 2010, this was with the cooperation of National Blood Bank and in collaboration with corporate partner SAP Malaysia Bhd.

The bi-yearly campaign under the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program attracted more than 70 people from all walks of life and about by 3:00pm, the blood bank was full by 3pm. This year’s blood donation campaign had a record of an increase in the number of blood donors as well as repeat donors. Cik Azida (30 years old) from MMC Corporation Bhd, a 3rd time blood donor shares her experience, ‘I am blessed with great health and knowing that by donating my blood, I can save a life, it is a small deed’.
A special note of thanks to our corporate partner, SAP Malaysia, shown their support through encouraging employees to participate for this good cause and more than 10 employees including Consulting Director, Mr. Clinton Mottram participated in this event. Also, a note of appreciation is extended to all Crowne Plaza Mutiara’s staff and the members of the public.

Each successful blood donor was given food, beverage, vitamins and health supplements and a certificate of appreciation.
