This song is too high-pitched for me!
Shall we sing "Woman in the mirror"?
Oh gosh, that is terrible!

Day 4: First Stop "Human Train"

Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur celebrates service with a human train.

To add fun and excitement to the mid-week Celebrate Service activities,
the Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur ‘built’ a human train!

The first ‘carriage’ of the train departed from the basement level of the hotel - constructed by the members of the Engineering department.  As the train made its journey through the hotel to its final destination, it made several stops at the various stations (departments), adding more ‘carriages’ along the way.

Each ‘carriage’ carried their own trademark in representing their departments,
e.g. Housekeeping brought along their brooms and mops, kitchen staff came with kitchen utensils, Finance had calculators.

The team took a group photograph on arrival at their destination.  All in all, it was a memorable ‘train ride’ in Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur in celebrating
Service Week.

Day 3: Second Stop 'Tug of War'

The fight goes on as Tug of War enters into the Semi-Finals. Let’s find out who will still be on the running for CPMKL’s Strongest Link? And Mohd Shazril from Engineering Team will share with you about his experience with the Tug of War game.

(Quote of the day): ‘There were 10 persons in my team and we were facing a very strong opponent. The score was 1-1 and we needed one more point to win. Together as a team, we listened to the commanding voice of our leader, and each time he shouted PULL, my team will used all our strength to pull the rope towards our direction and finally defeated our opponent. I am amazed to realize how enormous the power of a well-coordinated and determined team to win can be”, said Mohd Shazril.

Engineering vs Kitchen (Winner: Engineering)

Front Office vs Banquet (Winner: Front Office)

Housekeeping (B) vs Accounts (Winner: Housekeeping)

The GREAT Team of Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur

Day 3: First Stop 'Thank You Day'

We are in Day 3 of Celebrate Service Week and everyone here in CPMKL is still enjoying the fun.

Today, Wednesday; is marked as ‘Thank You Day’ and the executives are expressing their gratitude in writings on a postcard as giveaways to colleagues and staff for their selfless support and contributions. Recipients were taken by surprise and we can see how touched they felt upon receiving these cards.

It is heartwarming to see how the two magical words ‘Thank You’ is being expressed through words and also many bridges are strongly built  by the sincerity within us.

So take a moment of the day and ponder when did you last say ‘Thank You’? On this note, do cherish and treasure the relationship of respect through a sincere ‘Thank You’.

(CITE) Quote of the day by Asher, Catering Team: “Haha.. One thing I learned from tug-of-war today:- Most important thing is to keep leaning back! Simply means in life: Don't even make the first motion toward giving in!”
